Access Payment Information

Pursuant to Legislation, 24-A MRSA §6917, there is an Access Payment to be applied to claims paid beginning on or after September 1, 2009 regardless of plan year.

Access Payments must be made monthly to the Dirigo Health Agency and are due 30 days after the end of each month (24-A MRSA §6917(1)(C)).

The checks should be made payable to Treasurer, State of Maine. The payments along with the Access Payment Remittance Forms should be mailed to:

For the latest notification letter click here and be advised of the following. The Final Monthly Access Payment is due January 30, 2014 for claims paid through December 31, 2013. Final Payments from Third Party Administrators for groups of 500 or fewer members on claims paid through December 31, 2013 will be due March 1, 2014.
